Our exacting phased approach respects your time and budget, and eases the stresses associated with renovations and interior design. We expertly guide the process from first meeting to project completion, ensuring smooth and continuous progress, clear communication, and, most importantly, a beautiful, exuberant interior you’ll be proud to call home.
Beginning the Design Process
The first step is a Meet & Greet with Cori at her studio. During the complimentary 45-minute session you’ll get to know Cori, see examples of her work, and learn about the CHI design process. You’ll have the chance to share details about your project, design goals and vision. Following the Meet & Greet, an In-Home Consultation of up to two hours is scheduled. During this meeting with Cori at your home, you’ll share your wish list and goals for the project, discuss any challenges, and collaborate with Cori to define the Scope of Work. Preliminary photos of your home are taken at this time and discussion of the budget begins.
Phase 1: Research, Design & Presentation
After committing to proceed with your project, Phase 1 begins with a Project Initiation Meeting, followed by Research and Design, and culminating in the Design Presentation. During the Project Initiation Meeting, Cori reviews the Scope of Work, fees and payment schedule, and details what’s included in the steps to follow.
Phase 2: Project Implementation
During this phase the design plan is physically implemented. Cori Halpern Interiors works closely with all parties involved in this Phase, including the contractor, trades and other suppliers to ensure the plans are executed as designed. All of the renovation materials and furnishings are ordered, fabricated, purchased and installed.
Project Completion
Phase 2 culminates in final installations, styling, reveal and project wrap up. During this time we ensure everything is completed according to the design drawings, all the finishing touches are in place, and any deficiencies are resolved. Finally the project is ready for the most important element to bring the space to life — you.
