Cori Halpern, Principal

Cori Halpern is a Registered Interior Designer who is passionate about creating custom interiors that delight her clients with a joyful mix of colour, pattern, texture and considered details. Established in 1996, Cori Halpern Interiors is a Toronto-based firm specializing in high-end, full service residential interior design. The studio creates one of a kind, highly personal interiors that are as unique as each client. Hallmarks of Cori’s projects include custom millwork and furnishings, an adept marriage of classic and contemporary elements, and attention to the little things that make a house a home. Cori approaches every project with a remarkable blend of enthusiasm and efficiency that makes her a pleasure to work with.

Her three decades of experience, talent, carefully cultivated network of skilled collaborators and meticulous process ensure every Cori Halpern Interiors project runs smoothly and finishes beautifully.

A graduate of Toronto’s Ryerson School of Interior Design (now Toronto Metropolitan University), Cori is proudly affiliated with ARIDO, NCIDQ and NKBA. Her exuberant interiors are informed by a love of travel, textile design, art history and architecture, as well as the vibrancy of city life. A Toronto native, Cori and her husband have two grown children and live in a downtown loft with their two dogs. At the end of the week, Cori appreciates a well made cocktail.

As a key member of the Cori Halpern Interiors team, Steph Reed ensures each project stays on course, that communication flows and that no detail is overlooked. With more than two decades of design industry experience, Steph is an expert at navigating the complex workings of supplier practices, purchasing and processes while keeping her cool and a sense of humour along the way. Steph’s love of the details extends to the creative side of design as well. She’s captivated by the way special touches like an exquisite trim, tile install pattern or even the right scent can elevate a space.
